About Us

Welcome and thank you for taking interest in our church family.  We are a neighborhood church that meets on Saint Paul's East Side, and we are committed to helping each other know and treasure Jesus Christ above all things.

Our church family was originally founded as Hayden Heights Baptist Church in 1924.  We thank God for our heritage in the gospel and for God's grace at work in our congregation for nearly 90 years.  In an effort to build on this heritage and carry forward our witness in our community, we recently joined the Treasuring Christ Together Network through a partnership with Bethlehem Baptist Church.  We are also in association with the North Central Conservative Baptist Assocation.

As a local church, we have been entrusted to proclaim the message of the gospel.  This gospel drives both our mission and vision as a local church. Our mission statement briefly expresses why we exists; our vision statement captures who we desire to be as we pursue this mission.

MISSION
We exist to joyfully surrender our lives to Jesus Christ through God's Word, together proclaiming the gospel to all peoples for the glory of God.

VISION
Our vision is to be a faithful and fruitful local church magnifying the glory of God through the transforming power of the gospel of Jesus Christ for our neighborhoods, the twin cities area, and the world.

We are an elder-led church, baptistic in practice, and committed to God's Word taking hold of our lives.  The most important thing we can say about ourselves is that Jesus Christ has met our deepest needs through the gospel and that we love to worship Him.  We hope that as you visit this site you will know us better and more importanly that you will share in our joy of knowing Christ.

[In loving memory of Joe Eastlund, we express our gratitude to his family for the memorial gift which helped fund this website.]
